Equipment is generally available for pickup after 3PM on the day before use day. Prior arrangement must be made if equipment is needed earlier. Returns must be made by 10AM on the day following your last use day. Equipment returned after 10AM is subject to additional rental charges.

TYPE OF TAPES
DVCAM This format uses 8-bit digital component recording with a 5:1 compression ratio and a sampling rate of 4:1:1 (fro NTSC) / 4:2:0 (for PAL). Track pitch of 15um (DV format is 10 UM)
DVCPRO Panasonic's DVCPRO increases track pitch and width to 18 microns, and uses a metal particle tape for better durability. DVCPRO also adds a longitudinal analog audio cue track and a control track to improve editing performance and user-friendliness in linear editing operations.
